Amazon Prime Experience - Beyond the Screen
From April 30 to May 21 Amazon Prime provided Emmy voters a world-class FYC destination unlike any other. Located at the historic Citizen News in Hollywood, guests had a rare intimate opportunity "to feel, taste, and touch worlds that most people only get to view on-screen." The goal was to allow an immersive behind the scenes experience to reveal the storytelling magic and creative journey that takes place in the world of television. Some of these TV series included The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Daisy Jones & The Six, The Boys, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power & more.
Categories included production, writing, costume design, production design, hair and makeup, sound and music, and visual effects. Attendees were invited to explore these different installations and immerse themselves into different scenes. With catering from critically acclaimed Chef Evan Funke and invitation-only access to over a dozen screenings, this activation revealed the passion and craftsmanship surrounding Amazon's award-worthy programming.
“Prime Video’s original programming consistently raises the bar, so we wanted to give voters an FYC experience that does so as well,” said Debra Birnbaum, head of awards for Prime Video and Amazon Studios. “This new Prime Experience is immersive, engaging, and worthy of the best content available to stream.”
