On March 18, 2018 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, Microsoft celebrated it's March 20th release date of Xbox Sea of Thieves. At an Xbox event, Dave "The Bullet" Smith, human cannonball, flew 200 ft. out of a real cannonball.

Guinness World Records has confirmed this new world record for the farthest distance for a human cannonball.
